Howdy, from Nashville!

Nashville, you have stolen my heart. This city is inspiring. The moment you step onto the streets of this city, with all of the music history and musical dreams, you can literally feel it in your bones. It is contagious. Whenever I visit, my all-time favorite hotel to stay at is the Gaylord Opryland Resort. This resort is pretty much a kingdom of awesomeness. It’s hard to even want to leave the resort because there is so much to do and so much to see! They have multiple shopping plazas inside the resort, a forest, a waterfall, a river and countless incredible restaurants and yes, they even have a couple Starbucks inside too for my fellow coffee lovers.

Nashville is also the place where the KLove Fan Awards are held once a year where thousands are gathered and given hope and encouragement. Through KLove, I was given the opportunity to run my first 5K in supporting the cause Run For Love 5K!

My favorite town outside of Nashville is Franklin. And my goodness is it adorable! They have a tiny shopping strip that has the most precious little boutiques and restaurants. One of my favorite stores on the street, that I just have to visit every time I am there, is Philanthropy. This store stays true to its roots, filled with Nashville style, which I love. The beautiful girls that work there are so welcoming, so sweet and so helpful! My favorite part about the store, besides their southern charm, is their Prayer Wall. I could spend hours in front of it reading every note card. It is a wall where shoppers come in and write down a prayer on a vintage note card. The cards are filled with either prayer requests or praise reports. Shoppers are given the opportunity to take a card, or multiple cards and can pray for anything. It’s a clever way to connect strangers together as tourists come and go. A fun fact about this gem is that Philanthropy donates a portion of all sales to honorable charities.

As far as food goes, one of the all-time best places to go is the famous Loveless Café. The food is outrageous, it is a town favorite. It is a must go for all tourists and locals. These are just a few fun spots and experiences of my time in Nashville, I hope you visit soon!
